Paper extruded vases. Pursuing the ungainly. Crookedness, imperfection and deformity is reflected in the pieces. The pieces are of various shapes and temperaments with different appearance and posture. All crooked and different in their own way.
During the production process the clay is pressed/extruded through lasercut paper tubes. The laser-cut holes define the shape of the extruded. The humidity of the clay determines the posture as the tube collapses and deforms when it is affected by the moisure of the clay. The balancing act between the texture of the clay and the firmness of the paper. The papper burns away during the firing and leaves behind an imprint.
